Summary
Badge made in Sydney by Perfection Badges. for the Union of Postal Clerks & Telegraphists to give to members when they joined the Union. Retained at Union's office, then donated to the Museum by Bill Hale, Secretary of U.P.T.
The U.P.T. originated as the Australian Commonwealth Post and Telegraph Officers Association in 1900. It amalgamated with the Australian Postal and Telecomminications Union in August 1990.
Physical Description
Round plated alloy badge with horizontal pin & catch. Silver logo at top and text on navy blue enamel background.
