Summary
Box of 15 sample leather gloves, all left hands, pre 1991, from Grenoble Gloves. Most are made by Exico, Czechoslovakia; one pair is labelled made in Japan. They are housed in a re-purposed box labelled 'Green' and 'Made in Japan'.
Grenoble Gloves was owned by Felix Ticho (1911-1991). The business started in 1944 at 360 Little Bourke Street and produced fashion and golf gloves and imported military gloves for the Australian forces. It relocated to Prahran around 1982 and concentrated mainly on importing.
Physical Description
Cardboard box with lid containing 15 individual sample leather left hand gloves of different colours. Box is rectangular and stapled in corners. Coloured white externally. Label at end.
