Summary
This wax model is based on a specimen grown and presented to the museum by Charles Draper of Hazelglen in 1875. The model was made by museum artist Thomas McMillan in 1875 for the 1876 Centennial International Exhibition, Philadelphia.
Synonyms: Phillip's Seedling, Cellini. This apple is a cooking variety and is harvested in summer.
