Made by Gilles Mariette, Liege, Belgium, circa1840.
Victoria Police assigned serial number: 40415VP.
Physical Description
Nipples in line with barrels. Ring trigger and under-hammer, chequered and carved wooden grips secured by a single screw, rounded butt, steel frame, engraved on both sides and down backstrap with foliate scrolls, capping groove onright hand side of frame. Barrels and breech plug numbered with corresponding numbers from 1 through to 4.
