Summary
This wax model is based on a specimen grown and presented to the museum by the Horticultural Society of Victoria from their gardens at Burnley, 1880. The model was made in the museum. The model maker was not recorded.
This apple is a dessert variety and is harvested in summer. This Victorian seedling was raised by Robert Whatmough of Greensborough. This variety is not in Ikin's Listing of Fruits, 1974 edition
