Officer's shoulder belt and Morrocon leather pouch, 1893. Worn by an officer in the Victorian Permanent Artillery.
Physical Description
Curved black leather shoulder belt covered with gold ribbon. The belt fastens with an ornate gilded clasp featuring the artillery insignia of a flaming bomb, with similar flame motifs decorating the square buckle. A black leather, two compartment pouch is attached to the belt. The flap is heavily embroidered gold and silver metallic thread, with the British Coat of Arms above a cannon and Latin motto stitched on red velvet ground.
