Summary
This wax model is based on a specimen grown and presented to the museum by Robert Whatmough at Willis Vale in Greensborough, 1875. The model was made in the museum by Thomas McMillan in 1875. Duplicate of Reg Item 017145.
Synonym: Whatmough's Lancashire Lass. The seedling was raised by Robert Whatmough and planted at the Horticultural Gardens at Burnley and was still standing as late as 1921.
