The Women's Australian National Service was a voluntary service organisation for women in New South Wales and Western Australian during World War II. Women were trained in skills such as first aid, air raid response, signals, map reading and driving and maintenance of transports. Training in NSW included a camp at Kuring-gai Chase National Park.
