Summary
Brass Megaphone recovered from the ship the 'Duke of Wellington' which was wrecked off Cape Liptrap in 1853. The barque was sailing from Port Phillip to Newcastle when it ran aground, all hands escaped the wreck safely.

Conical shaped brass megaphone with a brass mouthpiece at the narrow end.
