Summary
Kerosene ship's lamp, circa 1820s-1880s. It could have been used as a portable lamp or a hanging one.
Physical Description
Metal and glass ship's lamp with a metal handle. The lamp has a grey coloured metal base on top of which sits a spherical glass cover, over the wick and where the flame would burn. There are five bars of metal which sit around and above the glass to protect it from breaking.
