World War II RAAF officer's peaked cap with gold braid insignia. Chin strap and side buttons missing.
Belonged to Flight Lieutenant Graham Stewart Conning. Conning enlisted in the RAAF in January, 1942. He was born in Richmond Victoria in 1919 and was living in Coburg before enlisting. Conning became a Lieutenant and was discharged from service in October 1945.
Physical Description
Navy peaked cap with gold braid insignia on centre front. Chin strap and side buttons missing. Dark brown patch of soiling on top right side.
