The V24 was designed by Captain Henry Round in 1916 and was initially made by Ediswan. From 1919 it was made by the Marconi Osram Company hence this must be an early example.
Manufacturer: Edison Swan Electric Co. Ltd., England

Tubular glass bulb with conical end caps and a pair of cylindrical caps on the side near one end. Bulb has silvery deposiit on inside. The silvery coating on the bulb is condensed tungsten from the filament; this valve is obviously well used.
