Summary
Medal issued in 1913 to commemorate the centenary of the crossing of the Blue Mountains, 1913.
It names Blaxland, Wentworth and Lawson, who were the first Europeans to succeed in crossing Australia's rugged Blue Mountains. Their journey opened the way for the colony to expand onto the fertile slopes and plains to the west.
