Significance
This coin was struck during the 22nd year that Aurelius held the tribunician power (TR P XXII on reverse). His 23rd began in December 168. Its production can be more closely placed as he also held 5 Imperatorial Acclamations (IMP V), the 5th was proclaimed in February 168 during the German campaigns.
