Summary
Copper As struck during the reign of the Emperor Vespasian in 71 AD, Ancient Roman Empire. Minted by Rome. The reverse form on this coin occurs with two possible obverse legends, the first ending with COS III and the second with COS IIII CENS. Although this section of the legend is missing on this coin, there is only available space for the shorter version. The coin is therefore placed in 71 AD when Vespasiian undertook his third Consulship, the fourth was in 72 AD.
