Trajan was Consul for the sixth (COS VI on this coin) and last time in 112 AD. Therefore this coin was produced in the period 112 to 117 AD. The obverse legend however ends with PARTHICO indicating that the coin was struck after 114 AD when Trajan began his Eastern campaigns.
