Summary
Orichalcum Dupondius struck during the reign of Gaius (known by the nickname Caligula) in 37-38 AD depicting his brothers, Nero and Drusus, on horseback. Minted by Rome, Ancient Roman Empire. These two brothers of Gaius had been recognized as heirs to the emperor Tiberius. Both fell victim to the intrigues of that reign.
