Summary
Earthenware filter pads, for use with filter pad holder. A circle of depth filder pad is clamped between two grooved earthenware plates. Solution to be clarified goes in one plate and comes out the other. Period probably 1920s. Superseded by metal holders. Used by Commonwealth Serum Laboratories (CSL) Limited, Parkville, Victoria.
Physical Description
Two white ceramic plates with eight grooves evenly spaced around the circumference. Holes through the centres of the plates.
