Physical Description
Box has the appearance of a black cloth-bound book, with marbled page-edges. Box opens to reveal wooden compartments for microscope slides (capacity 100), containing 123 slides. The slide are blood smears and are stained purple. The box lid has a chart for recording the contents of up to 102 slides.
