Badge showing the female symbol, used as a symbol of women's liberation in the 1960s and 1970s, and the flag of the National Liberation Front (NLF). of Vietnam. It bears the colours of the NLF, the communist political organisation in Vietnam at the time. The yellow star on top of a red and blue background later became the flag of the Provisional Revolutionary Government of the Republic of South Vietnam, an underground structure created in opposition to the official South Vietnamese government in 1969. The NFL and the PRG had support from most communist states and left-leaning organisations.

Physical Description

Round red badge with a yellow symbol of the female sex (circle with cross on bottom) on it. Within the circle are a red and a blue horizontal stripe. In the centre of the circle, half on the blue and half on the red stripe, is a yellow, five pointed star. The badge has a pin on the back.
