Physical Description

Khaki wool tunic featuring a cadet collar, two breast and hip patch pockets and a single back vent. Affixed to the collar are two round metal pins with insignias - one bearing the letters "US", the other two crossed rifles indicating the infantry branch. The jacket features eleven metal buttons with the eagle insignia - five down the front, one on each pocket, and one securing each shoulder strap.
