Summary
Glass ampoule used for freeze drying solutions. Vast numbers of these ampoules were used for drying penicillin under vacuum. They were sealed by flaming the neck while vacuum connected. Used by Commonwealth Serum Laboratories (CSL) Limited, Parkville, Victoria.
