Summary
Silver plated denarius possibly struck during the reign of the Emperor Vespasian between 69 AD and 79 AD but probably a later product. Mint not recorded, Ancient Roman Empire. The original coin would be dated to 69 AD as Vespasian held his third consulship in 70 AD, but this, as a plated denarius or cast copy could be of any date. It entered the collection about 1930.
