Summary
Silver denarius struck during the reign of the Emperor Vespasian in the name of his son, Titus, in 74 AD, Ancient Roman Empire. Minted by Rome. The coin is dated by its reference to Titus having been Consul three times (COS III on the reverse), this occurred in 74 AD, he held it for the fourth time in 75 AD. This coin has the obverse legend end VESP rather than VESPASIAN as described in RIC p.35.
