Significance
Lucilla married Lucius Verus at Ephesus in 164 and received the title Augusta (AVG on this coin). The coin was probably struck before Verus died in 169, since, after his death, Lucilla married a Syrian Roman, Claudius Pompeianus, and ceased to act as Empress.
