This bimetallic $10 was the first of a series of three and symbolised 'The Past'. 'The copper centre symbolises the richness and maturity of the ancient continent with the surrounding silver indicating the linking of indigenous and other cultures. Rising through the centre is a seedling signifying the growth of Australia as a nation. Physical Description

A proof bimetallic ten dollar coin (29 mm diameter) The middle of the coin is copper while the outer rim is silver. The reverse features a map of Australia behind a seedling.
