View of foredeck of SS Medic at Port Melbourne, 28 October 1899. The ship had made its maiden voyage from Liverpool to Sydney in 1899. On her trun voyage she carried the troops and horses of the 1st Victorian Contingent to the Boer War. Horses can be seen below deck.
