A round white metal commemorative medal (62 mm diameter) set in a brass circular container. The medal features view of the Exhibition Building in Manchester. Reverse depicts three muses sitting among works related to the Arts, flowers, a harp, pottery. etc. The brass case gives details of the exhibition and the mint.
