Summary

Parade float of Big Pip the Elephant made by George E. Clarke to promote Pip's bacon potato chips. Clarke was originally a sign writer by trade which led to the establishment of his business, Clarke Outdoor Advertising.

Clarke's sons, Roger and Max, helped him in making the elephant.

Pip was used in Moomba and other big parades. He retired to George E. Clarke's farm in Wyong, NSW where he became a feed shed.
