The photograph, taken in Egypt 1915-1916, is part of a collection of photographs belonging to Alfred Galbraith. Sapper Galbraith was in Egypt with the 2nd and 5th Division from December 1915 to June 1916, when the 5th Division sailed to France. He died in France on 15 July 1916.

Small photograph of a tent camp in the desert. Three men stand outside of the tent at the centre of the image, which has its flaps around the base raised to allow air through. The photograph, taken in Egypt 1915-1916, is part of a collection of photographs belonging to Alfred Galbraith. Sapper Galbraith was in Egypt with the 2nd and 5th Division from December 1915 to June 1916, when the 5th Division sailed to France. He died in France on 15 July 1916.
