Obverse Description

Within broad rim formed by line circle, two crossed shields below Arms with lion and kangaroo supported, the left shield contains depictions of grape vines and wheat-sheaf; the right depicts a milkmaid and cow; around, SHIRE OF KERANG. Between the base of the shields is a badly formed Southern Cross. The motto on the ribbon under the Arms reads, UNO ANIMO VINCEMUS
