Medal awarded to Raymond D. Marginson, Chairman of MMBW 1982-1986.
The medal commemorates the Thomson Dam Project and was issued by the Melbourne and Metropolitan Board of Works, 1968-1985.
The Thomson-Yarra Tunnel was a major component of the scheme. Fehrings, Swingler, Easton, and Bells are the names of the various weirs and shafts that were also major components of the Thomson scheme.
