In the 1980s Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd worked with the Bird Observers Club in Melbourne to produce a series of educational posters about birds.

It is unclear how many of these posters were created in total. Posters and factsheets featuring the Pink Cockatoo (or Major Mitchell's Cockatoo) and the Rainbow Lorikeet were released in 1986. A poster and factsheet for the Varied Lorikeet was also produced, most likely also in the 1980s, or possibly even in the 1990s.

Museums Victoria holds an example of the the Pink Cockatoo poster and factsheet, as well as a letter relating to their educational poster series that was sent to schools. The museum also holds the poster and factsheet for the Varied Lorikeet.
