Summary
This two-dimensional model shows the first costume design for Stellar the Fantasy Duck-Woman, designed by Christina Smith. This more traditional design was incorporated into plans for the Opening Ceremony of the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games for a short time in 2005, before being dropped in favour of the modern design that appeared in the Ceremony. This model was one of a number of models that were made from Smith's costume concept designs, including a version of the Toy Duck, HT 12538.

Cardboard model, with wire supports and tape on wings. Features are illustrated in ink and watercolour. Excellent Condition.
