Summary

Part of the tracksuit worn by the then Governor of Victoria John Landy as the final runner in the Melbourne 2006 Queen's Baton Relay, on 15 March 2006. Landy carried the Melbourne 2006 Queen's baton from the playing field of the Melbourne Cricket Ground (where the Ceremony was principally staged) up a set of custom made stairs to present it to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, who then read her message to the athletes, declaring the Games open.
