Summary
Five data cassette tapes containing programs used by the donor with his Apple II in 1979. The donor then obtained floppy disk drives.

2. Finance I and Penny Arcade
3. Color Demosoft and Little Brick Out

The Apple II computer was programmed by playing the data cassette tape at a suitable sound level in an audio cassette player linked to the computer. A cable ran from the Audio Output jak on the cassette player (usually labelled External Speaker or Headphones) and ran into the Cassette In jack on the back of the Apple II. A similar cable ran from the Cassette Out jack on the Apple II to the microphone jack of the cassette player.
Physical Description
Each cassette tape is contained in a transparent cassette tape case.
Significance
Data cassette tapes (standard audio tapes) were used to store programs when the Apple II was first introduced in 1977. Whilst floppy disk drives using floppy disk were introduced in 1978 and rapidly superseded data cassettes, for a short time Apple continued to produce data cassette tapes such as these.
In addition, these particular tapes are rare and highly prized.
