Summary
Booklet outlining the Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd Staff Superannuation Fund Indenture and Rules, as amended in 1944, 1950, 1958 and 1960.
The Fund was set up to provide retiring pensions and other benefits for employees, including provision for those who died or were totally and permanently disabled while in the employ of Kodak. The foundational Trustees of the Fund in 1940 were Edgar Rouse (Chairman and Managing Director), Henry Foote (Company Director), Joseph Page (Company Secretary), and William McCoy (Departmental Foreman).
Kodak manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.
This booklet was donated by a former Kodak employee, several years after the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
