Summary
Copy of a medal of Giovanni Francesco Boniperti. The original medal was by the Italian artist Pastorino de' Pastorini in about 1555. This uniface electrotype copy was made circa 1881 Robert Ready. This uniface electrotype copy was made circa 1881 at British Museum by Robert Ready from a uniface lead cast from the collection of George III held by that museum (Reg: G3,IP.186). The electrotype is copper plated and toned.
