Summary
Copy of a medal depicting Pasquale Malipiero, Doge of Venice. The original medal by the artist Marco Guidiani was cast in the period 1457-1462. This uniface electrotype copy was made circa 1881 by Robert Ready. The British Museum holds an example of this medal (Reg: 1921,1014.17) but it is not the piece from whci this electrotype was taken. Pasquale Malipiero was the 66th Doge of Venice.
