Summary
Copy of a medal depicting Alessandro Bonzagno on his 65th birthday. The original medal by Pastorino de' Pastorini in Ferrera in 1553. This uniface electrotype copy was made circa 1881 by Robert Ready. This electrotype copy was made circa 1881 at British Museum by Robert Ready from a cast lead piece out of the collection of George III held by that museum (Reg: G3,IP.145). The electrotype is copper plated and toned.
