'Prints from Kodak' Film Wallet, manufactured by Kodak Australasia Pty Ltd circa 1930s - 1950s. It has two internal side pockets printed with promotional information. It is one of a group of folders from J Wood, of Burwood, Victoria, who donated these items to the Kodak Photo Information Service.
This object is part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.
Kodak manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.
Physical Description
Yellow paper envelope/folder printed in red and black ink with two internal side pockets stitched at top and bottom, printed with text. Stamped on cover and handwritten inscriptions in pencil throughout.
