Summary

A staff bulletin or newsletter issued to Kodak Australasia staff in Sep 1923. This is the sixth issue of the Kodak Works Bulletin and it incorporates all branches of the company.

The Bulletin includes news from various Kodak branches around Australia and New Zealand, and has reports on the Kodak Girls Club, and various Kodak sporting events including tennis. There are also updates about staff who were ill, as well as notes on recent staff engagements and weddings. A photograph of Kodak's Abbotsford factory in flood was featured on the back page.

This bulletin is part of the Kodak collection of products, promotional materials, photographs and working life artefacts collected from Kodak Australasia in 2005, when the Melbourne manufacturing plant at Coburg closed down.

Kodak manufactured and distributed a wide range of photographic products to Australasia, such as film, paper, chemicals, cameras and miscellaneous equipment. Its client base included amateur and professional photographers, as well as specialist medical and graphic art professionals who used photography, x-ray and other imaging techniques.
