Summary
This blue, white and red ribbon rosette was produced by Museum Victoria in 1980 to be sold to raise funds for a new display case for Phar Lap, as well as to establish an acquisition fund to buy Phar Lap related objects for the Museum's History Collection.
Physical Description
2 Phar Lap rosettes in red, white and black. The central badge is in black and white with writing and a picture of a horse. Marked on back with black texta. Safety pin attached. Rosette consisting of a round clear plastic disc which contains a card printed with black text and a drawing of a horse and jockey. Around the outside of the disc are three circles of pleated blue, white and red synthetic ribbon. At the bottom is attached three lengths of the same coloured ribbon. On the back is a metal pin.
