Alternative Name(s): Button
Badge made for the Stop the Drop concert that took place at the Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne in February 1983. The line-up consisted of INXS, Midnight Oil, Goanna and Redgum and the concert was attended by 8000 people. All the funds raised went to the People for Nuclear Disarmament. This organisation was formed in 1981 and its main campaigns included opposition to the nuclear race, ANZUS treaty, US bases in Australia and uranium mining, among many others. The artist who made the Stop the Drop logo is unknown, it was apparently created at a small graphic design office in Melbourne.
