Summary
Alternative Name(s): Button
This badge was made in 1972 for a fundraising campaign by the Wellington Committee on Vietnam (COV). Similarly to Australia, there were anti-war movements that took place there thoughout the 1960s, with protests peaking around 1970. The COV was one of many organisations active in New Zealand, however, it was the most efficient and successful in putting its message across and drawing support.
