Returned Soldiers' Association (RSA) badge dated 28 June 1919 - the date that the Date Treaty of Versailles was signed, marking the formal end to the hostilities of World War I. The badge was sold in Adelaide on Saturday 19 July 1919 for one shilling, 'by authority of the Department of Repatriation'. The badge has no obvious maker's name.

The Returned Soldiers' Association (RSA) was a predecessor of the Returned & Services League (RSL).

Physical Description

Circular pressed metal badge with coloured face featuring gold border and green wreath. World globe in the centre with the dove of peace at the top; bow at bottom. Inscribed around the edge of the inside of the wreath. Pin at back which fits into a slot.
