High Speed indicator No. 104 manufactured by the L.S. Starrett Co., USA. Includes box and promotional leaflet. Used in the workshop at Melbourne Observatory.

Used to measure the rotational speed of a machine such as a lathe.

This type of indicator was sold for USD $1.00 in 1913 with a pasteboard box. Nickel plated finish.
