Terrestrial radiation thermometer, made by Negretti & Zambra, London. Range - 10 to +130 degrees Farhenheit. Used at Melbourne Observatory.
Physical Description
Length 12 1/2 inches. Tube protected by outer glass sheath. Bulb of normal glass with stem and sheath of British lead glass; tube filled with rectified spirits of wine and fitted with black glass index. Divided on the stem in single degrees and figured every 10 degrees.
