Summary

Copper As of the Emperor Hadrian struck between 125 and 128 AD, Ancient Roman Empire. Minted by Rome. The Rome mint seems to have been closed while Hadrian was travelling from 122 to late 125 AD. When it was re-opened the obverse legend found on this coin was introduced (see RIC vol.II p. 315). Production of this coin, based on the form of the obverse legend, was between 125 and 128 AD.
