Dried sterilised tubercule bacculi (TB organisms). The culture is not active. Made by Commonwealth Serum Laboratories (CSL) Limited, Parkville, Victoria. CSL carried out much work on the chemistry of TB bacteria constituents during the 1930s-50s. Dried organisms were the starting material of the investigations. Bottled 1939.
